Lose Weight: Free and easy workout solutions

I’m the type of person that hates going to the gym. Using machines to help me lose weight was never my style. I do like to go to pilates reformer classes and  do aerial silks, but those classes are expensive.

So what is my free at home solution? The internet of course. Below are the list of FREE programs that I follow on youtube.

Pop Pilates aka Blogilates

Cassey Ho is the owner of Pop Pilates. I have been following her for over 5 years now. I have always been a big fan of pilates, so when I found her I was excited.

Pop pilates is never boring, and Cassey is positive and motivational without being too annoying. I hate people yelling at me and telling me what to do, so she is perfect for me.

The best part about pop pilates is that Cassey offers a FREE monthly calendar with different exercises to do each day. All you have to do is sign up for her newsletter and at the end of each month she will send out a password to unlock the new calendar.

You can visit her website here  to sign up for the monthly workout calendar and check out her workout videos here .

Tone It Up

I have been following Tone It Up longer than Pop Pilates, but I am sometimes turned off by their workouts. I hate weights, kettlebells, jumping, push ups… You’re probably thinking why do I even try to exercise?!

Even if I hate it, it’s still effective. Their workouts are shorter ( around 30-40 min) than Pop Pilates (60 minutes) because it was designed for busy women.  Also, I can’t help but love Karena and Katrina. They are so cute together. BFF Goals!

They use to have a monthly calendar, but I don’t know if they currently offer it. They do send out a weekly workout schedule in their newsletter.  You can visit their website here or check out their workout videos here.

Tara Stiles

There are times when I really want to do yoga because I want to increase my flexibility, but it’s so boring.

Tara Stiles is not boring, and I am so envious of how flexible she is! I love her videos because they are 10 min each, but I still feel like I’m working out. You can check out her videos here.

Joanna Soh

Joanna Soh is awesome because she has different workout plans and meal plans you can choose from on her website, and they are  all FREE. (When writing this post, the website was down : ( Hopefully she didn’t stop her website.

She makes simple, healthy recipes that are actually delicious. Her workouts are quick and versatile. She has workouts you can do in bed, workouts to do before work, kickboxing workouts, and so on. Check out her videos here.

Super Quick Mention: Ali Kamenova Interval Yoga

Even though I have only done her workouts twice, I wanted to mention Ali Kamenova because her yoga workouts are REAL workouts. I mean you will be DRENCHED in sweat.

Her movements are so fluid and it feels beautiful just to do the workout. I love it, but still not a huge fan of yoga and the sequences are too long for me. If I got more into yoga, I would do this. You can check out her videos here.

I also want to mention that she just popped out a baby and she lost all the weight quickly. Her body is INSANE. She has yoga pregnancy videos too for anyone who wants to exercise while pregnant. I know that if I ever get pregnant, I will be doing her yoga workouts.

Are you already following along with any of these trainers? Are there any free workouts that you would recommend? Let me know in the comments below.
